Al-Taj News – The European Union strongly condemned the recent Iranian attacks targeting Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, warning that they undermine settlement efforts, threaten regional security and stability, and constitute a violation of international law.
In a statement published on its official website Saturday, the European External Action Service said the European Union “is deeply concerned about the recent military escalation in the Middle East,” calling for de-escalation and the full implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 2817.
In its statement, the service strongly condemned the latest wave of Iranian attacks targeting Saudi commercial vessels while passing through the Strait of Hormuz, noting that such actions constitute a blatant violation of international law.
The statement stressed the need to ensure the protection of civilians by all parties and under all circumstances, in full accordance with the provisions of international humanitarian law.
